TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor TYPE OF POSITION: Full-Time (1.0); anticipated start 7/1/2026; wage: ($29.00- 33.19/hr) LOCATION: District, Hopkinton, Massachusetts AREA OF CONSIDERATION: All qualified candidates The Maintenance Supervisor provides the necessary leadership and direction to a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient environment in which students and staff can learn, play, work, and develop. DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform and assume responsibility for all aspects of the duties indicated in the Maintenance Worker job description; Create and maintain documented schedules, detailing the proposed start and completion time/date for all usual and customary Maintenance Department work and work orders; Collect, log and respond to all work orders in a timely manner; Maintain in good order records of service intervals and performance for all system components and coordinate the repair or replacement of system components with in kind goods wherever possible; Create and submit Request for Purchase Order forms to the Director of Buildings and Grounds for all anticipated and emergency purchases prior to ordering; Establish, implement and maintain a program of safe work processes; Insure that only qualified and knowledgeable personnel perform repairs, adjustments and/or alterations to any system component; Receive and document the date of receipt, amount and use of Maintenance Department supplies and equipment; Conduct the annual evaluation of full-time maintenance department staff; Other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered qualified for the position of Maintenance Supervisor , candidates must have/be: Physical ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation; Ability to read and comprehend basic operating and use instructions, and write reports; Demonstrated aptitude for the successful completion of assigned tasks; Proven supervisory ability; Ability to effectively communicate the policies, standards, and procedures of the Maintenance Department; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Buildings & Grounds or the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate.
