Now Hiring 2nd Shift Machine Operators in West Chester, OH! Shift:2nd, 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday (Potential for OT on Saturdays) Rate:$23.50 (to start) ($20 base with $3.50 shift differential) Summary:We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Machine Operators that prefer 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team! This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of various paper manufacturing machinery during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with advanced manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to precision and safety protocols.Essential Functions:Operate a variety of paper manufacturing machinery during the 2nd shift.Set up and troubleshoot equipment.Blueprint reading to ensure optimal performance.Conduct routine inspections and measurements.Perform preventive maintenance tasks and adjust machine parameters to maintain consistent output.Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and quality checks.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and factory procedures at all times.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to quality control standards.Assist in packaging finished products efficiently for shipment.Qualifications:Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery (paper or plastic oriented preferred) within a factory setting.Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machine setups and adjustment processes.Proficiency in production sheet and/or blueprint reading.Ability to use hand tools effectively for potential assembly tasks.Experience with handling materials safely.Knowledge of quality control procedures.Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations.Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and safety consciousness.Excellent attendance.
