Material Handler Woonsocket, RI Are you ready to play a crucial role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Material Handler to ensure the seamless movement and storage of materials within their plastics manufacturing facility.Join our client's team and contribute to maintaining efficient production operations.Responsibilities of the Shift Material Handler Move raw materials, resin, packaging, and finished products throughout the facility Supply production lines with necessary materials to maintain continuous operations Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely Load and unload trucks, verifying shipments for accuracy and damage Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed Label, store, and organize materials in designated areas Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures when handling materials Assist with staging and preparing materials for production and shipping Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures Requirements of the Material Handler High school diploma or GED required 1-3 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred (manufacturing environment a plus) Forklift experience and certification preferred Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems Ability to read work orders, labels, and shipping documents Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and dust Preferred Experience Familiarity with plastic resins and material handling processes Experience supporting extrusion, injection molding, or similar operations #MSSR1.
