BASIC FUNCTIONS | The Warehouse Supervisor/ Inventory Control Specialist will focus on the day-to-day execution of picking, palletizing and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled. This position also requires the resource to ensure all inventory control aspects are monitored and accurate. MANAGEMENT SCOPE | Some management responsibilities as assigned by manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | Position also includes, but is not limited to the following: · Implementing and maintaining companies inventory management system · Performing cycle counts and physical inventories · Tracking lot codes, identifying shortages or overstock situations · Investigating and resolving inventory transactions, shipments, and adjustments · Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and adjustments · Assign work to team members and ensure they have the necessary re to perform the required activities · Ensuring work meets the required quality standards · Keeping track of work progress and helping develop their skills · Directing work to the team members making sure tasks are completed according to instructions and standards · Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment SUCCESSFUL FACTORS | · Solid ethical disposition and ability to form business relationships across the organization. · Solid verbal and written communication skills and 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. · Ability to analyze, plan and solve problems. · Ability to execute sound independent judgment and communicate effectively with staff across the organization. · Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Power Point, Excel, and Word a must. · Must be detailed oriented, organized and ability to multitask. · Promote positive environment and have solid interpersonal skills while adhering to Company established Core Values. · Spanish language skills a plus but not required. · Commitment and Accountability to work schedule To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
