The hours for this position are from 8am to 5pm. 100% parental fee covered for first child. Employees Must Have One year of experience Criminal Background Check TB Test Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and independence among students. Utilize curriculum development techniques to tailor activities that support individual learning styles and developmental needs, including special education and early intervention approaches. Engage children in hands-on activities that enhance their cognitive, motor, and language skills while encouraging creativity and exploration. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior. Maintain organized classroom management practices to ensure safety, cleanliness, and an inviting environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, standardized testing preparations, and implementing Montessori or other specialized educational methods as applicable. Qualifications Prior experience working with children aged three to four years old in a classroom or daycare setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and lesson planning tailored for preschool learners. Familiarity with curriculum development tools across literacy education, math instruction including Montessori methods, and physical education activities. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Experience in preschool or private school environments is preferred; childcare or daycare experience is highly valued. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education is advantageous. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
