3PL Launch Manager | Contract | Heavy Travel | West Coast | Warehouse Startups

We’re hiring Launch Managers who know how to launch warehouses under real deadlines. If you’ve walked into an empty or underperforming facility and helped turn it into a functioning distribution operation, this is the type of work we’re doing. This is a 3–4 month contract supporting multiple 3PL site launches across the West Coast, with 50–70% travel and strong potential for extension. What you’ll be doing Leading warehouse and distribution center launches from setup through go-live Driving execution across inbound, outbound, and value-added services Partnering with vendors and contractors on equipment, layout, and readiness Applying Lean tools to stabilize operations quickly Being on-site during critical phases and solving problems in real time What makes someone successful here Experience launching or scaling DC operations Ability to operate in ambiguity and move fast Hands-on leadership style, not purely coordination Practical use of Lean or Six Sigma in live environments Willingness to travel and stay on-site as needed Background 3+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution leadership Project-based operations or startup experience Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar
