Core-Mark, a leading distributor in the North American convenience retail industry, is seeking a dependable CDL-A Route Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering a wide range of Core-Mark products—including fresh food, beverages, and tobacco—to retail customers across your assigned region. As the face of Core-Mark on the road and at each stop, you will help ensure our customers receive accurate, timely deliveries that support their business and reflect our commitment to a customer-first approach. The CDL-A Route Driver safely operates a commercial tractor-trailer while completing multiple daily stops. You will perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations, and use electronic logging devices to maintain accurate records of hours of service and vehicle operation. You will load and unload freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment, following established safety and product-handling procedures to protect both yourself and the integrity of the products. On each route, you will verify orders against delivery manifests, follow assigned delivery sequences, and complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation. You will interact regularly with store personnel, providing professional and courteous service, addressing delivery questions, and escalating any order or product issues as needed. Maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and adhering to food safety and product temperature standards will be an ongoing responsibility.
