Now Hiring 3rd Shift Machine Operators in West Chester, OH! Shift:3rd, 10:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday (Potential for OT on Saturdays) Rate:$22.50 (to start) ($20 base $2.50 night shift differential) Summary:We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated 3rd Shift Machine Operators that prefer overnight hours to join our manufacturing team! This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of various paper and plastic manufacturing machinery, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with advanced manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to precision and safety protocols.Name of the game is setting up, changing over, and adjusting manufacturing machinery.Essential Functions:Operate paper or plastic manufacturing machinery during the overnight third shift.Set up, change over, and troubleshoot equipment.Blueprint reading to ensure optimal performance.Conduct routine inspections and measurements.Perform preventive maintenance tasks and adjust machine parameters to maintain consistent output.Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, and quality checks.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and factory procedures at all times.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to quality control standards.Assist in packaging finished products efficiently for shipment.Qualifications:Proven experience operating production machinery (paper or plastic oriented preferred) within a manufacturing and/or factory setting.Strong mechanical knowledge with experince in machine setups and adjustment processes.Proficiency in production sheet and/or blueprint reading.Ability to use hand tools effectively for potential assembly tasks.Experience with handling materials safely.Knowledge of quality control procedures.Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations.Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and safety consciousness.
