Licensed - Position - K-6 Teacher Job Number 4600320009 Start Date Open Date Closing Date K-6 Elementary Teacher ELEMENTARY EDUCATION LICENSURE Candidates must hold and be HQ in the Elementary K-6 (025) license area. Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses; OR passing scores on the Pearson Foundations of Reading test AND either the Praxis 7813 Math test or the Math subtest of the Pearson General Curriculum test. Examples of related courses include: Birth-Kindergarten, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, English/Language Arts, Family Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Reading, Sciences, Social Studies, Sociology Eligibility for the residency license must be established prior to a contract offer. OR Middle Grades English Language Arts Teacher MIDDLE GRADES LANGUAGE ARTS LICENSURE Candidates must hold and be HQ in the middle grades language arts (78180) license area. Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses in language arts; OR passing PRAXIS II scores in Middle School English Language Arts. Examples of related courses include: English, English Education, Literature, Linguistics, Writing Eligibility for the residency license must be established prior to a contract offer.
