Overview We are seeking candidates with: 4–5 years of truss design experience Experience using MiTek software Experience with other design/engineering programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, CAD, etc. Ability to read and interpret architectural prints Responsibilities include: Designing roof and floor trusses using engineering software Creating truss placement layouts according to 84 Components design practices Ensuring designs are accurate, optimized, and compliant with current P&P Specifying all required hardware Maintaining updated Job Tracking Sheets and organized plan files Providing customer support and communicating with sales teams when needed Sending approval letters according to company procedures Participating in meetings and supporting team initiatives 84 Lumber offers long-term career growth, a team-oriented environment, competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work with one of the largest privately held building materials suppliers in the country.
