Job Overview We are seeking creative and detail-oriented bakery associate to join our team in 85°C Bakery Cafe located at Palm Desert. The ideal candidates are committed to exceptional customer service, detail oriented, with a willingness to go above and beyond. Barista and Tea Backup This job is for OPENING SHIFTS (6am thru 2pm ). Must be available for this shift. Job specific duties including memorizing and making over thirty specialty drinks, coffee, tea, smoothies, etc. ; working in a extreme fast pace environment, multi-tasking and other job duties as needed Associates are expected to provide customers with a level of service beyond the customer's expectation, while showing sensitivity to their individual needs. Make a memorable connection and commit to making each guest's experience the best Teamwork, follow direction and work together with the store management team to deliver outstanding service; to create an uplifting work atmosphere, for both your fellow employees and the customers. Be on time for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company policies and guidelines. Work hard and have FUN while doing so! Qualifications Food industry ( BOH) experience is a must; Previous experience as a BARISTA is a must; Bakery experience is a plus; Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-tasking; Acceptable verbal English communication skill; Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts; Enforce Health Department Regulations and be Riverside County certified; Available to work at least 20 hours a week; weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
