Summary The Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of commercial audiovisual projects from award through closeout. This role requires a balance of technical knowledge, organizational skills, and client-facing communication to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities Lead all phases of project delivery, including prewire, installation, commissioning, and closeout. Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and trade partners to establish clear expectations regarding schedules, infrastructure needs, and deliverables. Conduct design review meetings with sales and engineering teams to validate scope, functionality, and client requirements. Oversee rack fabrication, on-site installation, and system commissioning activities. Perform field verification of site readiness, including pathways, structures, and environmental conditions. Prepare and process change orders in project management software (e.g., D-Tools) and secure stakeholder approval. Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and maintain schedule alignment. Manage project budgets, track labor utilization, and forecast resource requirements. Ensure proper project closeout, including delivery of as-built documentation, test results, and customer acceptance. Maintain accurate project records, files, and communication logs. Oversee warehouse, vehicle, and tool readiness to support installation teams. Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards while ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
