About the Facility Location The area features prominent monuments and memorials including the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, connected by the National Mall which serves as a central corridor for walking and biking. Visitors can access multiple free Smithsonian museums and experience the landmarks during daylight hours or when illuminated at night. The region hosts cultural festivals and outdoor activities, with spring offering cherry blossoms and various neighborhood dining options throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide comprehensive abdominal radiology services Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage required. Daily responsibilities include reading body imaging cases throughout the day with an expected volume of 40 CTs, 8 MRs, or 35 US cases utilizing MRI Body, ultrasound, and CT modalities. The position requires board certification in Radiology and involves utilizing MERGE PACs and Cerner EMR systems. All imaging interpretation and documentation will be completed using ScribeSystem dictation technology to support inpatient clinical services.
