About the Position: Coach-Mentors is recruiting for an experienced special ed teacher/tutor to provide in-home instruction to a 10 year old boy classified as Autistic with PDA challenges. Must be reliably available 2 hrs per day, Monday - Friday anytime between 9 am - 2 pm, be fingerprint cleared in NYS and available to start ASAP. To be considered for this position, you must complete the screening questions. About You: You have experience in Autism and PDA-affirming approaches, Elementary academic tutoring, PBIS-aligned behavior support and Executive-function and regulation coaching Current NYSED fingerprint clearance required. Have experience implementing student IEP goals, and can professionally engage teachers and other school based/CSE personnel. You must be flexible and highly dependable, with a strong sense (and demonstrated record) of personal integrity and solid work ethic. You are relationship oriented, have a unique ability to connect with others and yet have clear, healthy boundaries. We collaborate closely with families, school teams, clinicians, and related service providers to ensure academic and behavioral supports are consistent, coordinated, and aligned with existing IEP and BIP directives.
