Academy Coach – Development Team JOB DESCRIPTION Trizzino Tennis Academy is seeking a full-time Academy Coach – Development Team to join our tennis family in Williamsburg, VA. Conveniently located between Richmond and Virginia Beach, we are the only program within a 150-mile radius offering a true academy environment with comprehensive support for players and families. We train outdoors year-round at two locations: Kiwanis Park and Kingsmill Resort. Our athletes benefit from a complete developmental system including private lessons, clinics, strength & conditioning training sessions, and tournament coaching. In just the last four years, TTA has achieved exceptional player development success. We’ve sent athletes to Division I and Division III college programs, produced multiple No. 1–ranked players in the Mid-Atlantic, and recently celebrated a standout player defeating the #11 player in the nation at Indoor Nationals. We are looking for a coach with proven coaching results in development, college and/or professional playing experience, and a high-level technical IQ in stroke development, with the ability to build, refine, and progress player mechanics over time. ROLE EXPECTATIONS & STANDARDS This role is not only about coaching ability, but about leadership, professionalism, and representing the academy at the highest level. The Academy Coach – Development Team will: Serve as a daily leader within the academy, setting the tone for players and staff Attend 1–2 tournaments per month and represent TTA in a professional, composed, and responsible manner at all times Build positive, appropriate relationships with players and families while maintaining clear professional boundaries Uphold and model the academy’s standards for behavior, communication, and accountability both on and off the court Contribute to a safe, structured, and high-performance environment where athletes can thrive TTA has a zero-tolerance policy for unprofessional conduct, including inappropriate behavior at events, misuse of alcohol in player environments, or actions that compromise the safety, trust, or integrity of our program. COMPENSATION This is an hourly position combined with a monthly stipend for meetings & tournaments. This coach will also receive a business credit card to cover gas and food expenses at tournaments. Annual income can range between $50k- 75k+ (ultimately depends on the coach’s ability to create lessons, bring new players to the academy, and responsibly manage their schedule) USA Citizenship or valid work permits required Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits Flexible schedule On-the-job training Paid training Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
