Job Title: Account Associate - Commercial Lines Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-time Job Overview A growing insurance agency is seeking a detail-oriented Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the commercial insurance team with policy administration, documentation, and client service. This role focuses on processing policy transactions, managing client documentation, supporting new and renewal business workflows, and maintaining accurate insurance records . The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial insurance operations, policy servicing, and agency management systems , along with strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Policy Administration Process endorsements, policy updates, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements Manage certificates of insurance, ID cards, binders, and invoices Review policy documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain and update client and policy records in agency management systems Policy Processing & Documentation Prepare insurance submissions, proposals, and AOR (Agent of Record) letters Support new business and renewal processing workflows Assist account managers and producers with policy servicing activities Ensure documentation accuracy for policy changes and client requests Billing & Account Support Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues Maintain accurate financial and policy data records Coordinate internally with account managers and underwriting teams Client & Team Communication Provide responsive customer service and internal team support Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve policy issues Assist with documentation and workflow coordination for commercial accounts Required Qualifications Experience in insurance operations, account support, or policy administration Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and servicing processes Strong organizational, documentation, and administrative skills Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Property & Casualty (P&C) License or willingness to obtain the license Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in an insurance agency or brokerage environment Familiarity with agency management systems or insurance software platforms Experience supporting commercial lines insurance accounts
