The Account Executive (AE) will be a pivotal member of our North American sales team based in SF/ NYC. Collaborating with both the core Room team based out of New York and the local OFS sales team, you will lead our expansion in the North American market, showcasing our industry-leading products and embodying our mission to redefine the modern workspace. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, self-driven, and excels in prioritizing tasks independently. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing national accounts, engaging with some of the most dynamic companies in the country. While you will receive inbound leads, you'll also play a key role in acquiring new customers. Key Responsibilities Initiate outbound calls to engage new prospects. Ensure daily oversight of pipeline and sales activities, demonstrating accurate sales forecasting. Thoroughly qualify and vet leads to maintain a pipeline of high-intent accounts. Transform ROOM website inquiries into qualified leads. Collaborate with OFS Channel Sales Representatives to heighten awareness of ROOM solutions. Maintain consistent follow-up with accounts in your pipeline to drive revenue. Cultivate relationships and employ a consultative sales approach with key decision-makers in Small and Mid-Market companies. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape. Provide a consultative and tailored approach to leads through detailed needs analysis, ensuring a seamless sales process. Conduct physical and virtual showroom tours, showcasing our product design, brand vision, and closing deals. Qualifications 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in closing new business from both inbound and outbound efforts. Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales quotas with ethical sales practices in a short sales cycle environment. Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments for optimal customer care throughout the sales process. Experience in a high-paced sales or startup environment, delivering top-tier service and respect to customers. Proven track record of proactively driving outreach to generate urgency and sales. Inherent curiosity and passion for the future of workspaces in an open office environment. Proficient in managing a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight, adaptable to change. Highly detail-oriented and organized, adept at multitasking without losing focus. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM. Experience in full cycle sales from prospecting to post-sale care.
