Job Description
As an Account Executive, you will build and maintain long-term B2B relationships with customers nationwide, ensuring satisfaction, driving solutions, and developing new business opportunities. This role focuses on industrial automation and energy management solutions across Power Generation, High-Tech Manufacturing, and related markets. Key Responsibilities Develop sustainable, profitable business opportunities in targeted verticals. Sell industrial control solutions (PLC, SCADA, DDC, Analytics) including: Ignition, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, AVEVA (Wonderware), Emerson, GE Vernova, Siemens, Schneider. Provide consulting support to architects, engineers, contractors, and owners. Estimate hardware and installation costs from project plans and specifications. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Deliver industry presentations and participate in events to promote the company. Identify customer pain points, define solutions, and develop project scopes. Maintain communication and follow-up on deliverables and commitments. Track project financials and support marketing initiatives. Qualifications Education & Experience: Engineering degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in industrial automation, power generation, or high-tech manufacturing. Experience in integration/programming and mechanical/electrical systems. Business development experience in automation and energy management. Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of PLC/SCADA control theory and mechanical/electrical systems. Job Details Base salary: $80,000–$150,000 + commission and bonuses. Full-time, exempt; Monday–Friday with flexibility. Travel within North America as needed (up to 25% jobsite visits). Combination of office and field work; requires PPE and ladder climbing. Why apply?
