Job Purpose Ventegra is a fast-paced, innovative virtual company. An Account Manager I is a key position tasked with building and maintaining relationships with Ventegra’s clients. This position delivers personalized, proactive account management that anticipates client needs, drives improvement and innovation, and fosters enduring long-term partnerships. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for servicing accounts assigned to them, including but not limited to: Serves as primary contact for clients and key client personnel Builds relationships with clients Troubleshooting client issues by working with appropriate internal teams Attend client benefit fairs and conferences Assists in client implementation and integration Responsible for ensuring business requirements are complete, including but not limited to: Plan Design/Benefit Changes Formulary Updates Reporting Prepare and lead business review meetings with client management team, including but not limited to: Prepare and understand utilization data Prepare and understand plan cost and savings data Prepare and understand potential business opportunities Responsible for storing and maintaining key client documentation and communication to be shared internally across departments Responsible for client offboarding upon client termination Has knowledge of products and services provided to client Provides input on client goals and assists in pulling through solutions Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to organize and multi-task MS Office, specifically Excel and Word, skills strongly preferred Ability to pivot quickly to adapt to changing environment Ability to work independently yet be able to work cohesively within a team to achieve results Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Account management experience preferred PBM and Pharmacy experience preferred Work environment requirements A home office setting, free from noise and distraction allowing you to interact professionally both externally and internally
