About the Position As we continue to build-out our U.S. Power & Renewables team, Lockton Global Energy & Power is seeking commercial insurance professionals with a passion for delivering exceptional service and an interest in helping clients grow and contribute to the energy transition and infrastructure buildout over the next decade The Account Manager (Power & Renewables) is a key contributor to the delivery and ongoing management of complex client relationships. This role is responsible for day to day account stewardship, supporting coverage strategy, renewals, and policy administration while partnering closely with Producers, Account Executives, carriers, and internal teams. The Account Manager brings strong organizational skills, industry knowledge, and a proactive service mindset to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and a high quality client experience, while continuing to build the expertise and judgment required for increased ownership and responsibility. Secondary locations Dallas Business unit Texas Series Schedule Full-time Lockton Benefits Offerings Click Here Workplace Hybrid Your Responsibilities Services designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims, and administration Responds to Client’s inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, existing issues, and issue resolutions Supports implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up account in internal systems, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier Gathers and compiles exposure information from the Client, including compiling loss-run schedules and client stratifications Requests and collects quotes (new and renewal) from carriers Audits quotes, binders, and endorsements and makes requests for changes as needed Processes audits and creates audit analysis for Client Receives policy, then updates and completes policy check to ensure completeness Updates specifications, application, and summary information to reflect changes during the year Monitors receipt of quotes from carriers once submitted and negotiated by more senior staff Binds coverage under direction of the Account Executive Informs Client of any and all changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverage Gathers and compiles information for new business opportunities Inputs Client information into data management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness Generates materials for Client presentations and meetings Creates and sends compliance communications as needed Issues and processes Client invoicing Engages with Producer and Accounting Department to appropriately determine action plan and assist in collection efforts or billing discrepancies Researches industry trends and governmental regulations Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent Typically three to seven years of Client services experience is required Able to work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated, and proactively identifies tasks and follows through to completion without constant direction Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint) Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required Understands industry trends and governmental regulations Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed Legally able to work in the United States Equal Opportunity Statement Lockton Companies is proud to provide everyone an equal opportunity to grow and advance.
