Associate Director, Account Management Chicago | Hybrid | Full-Time A global payments technology platform is looking to hire an experienced Associate Director of Account Management to lead and grow a portfolio of high-value, strategic enterprise clients. This is a senior, commercially focused role where you will act as a trusted advisor to key partners, driving revenue growth, expanding account penetration, and strengthening long-term relationships across a complex, international client base. The Role Own and grow a small portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts Identify and execute on revenue expansion opportunities (cross-sell / upsell) Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers Develop and deliver strategic account plans aligned to client objectives Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions Monitor account performance, market trends, and growth opportunities Partner cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client success Act as a senior presence within the commercial team, sharing best practices and mentoring others What You Bring 10+ years’ experience in account management, partnerships, or sales Strong background within payments, fintech, or adjacent industries Proven success managing and growing enterprise-level accounts Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets Experience leading complex commercial negotiations Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment Nice to Have Experience in SaaS, API-based products, or technology platforms Track record of influencing internal and external senior stakeholders A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement What’s on Offer Competitive base salary plus bonus, hybrid working in Chicago, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement savings, learning and development support, wellbeing resources, and enhanced family leave.
