AccountantAbout the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company.This role will play a critical part in managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and helping drive data-driven decision-making across the business.The ideal candidate has experience in a high-growth CPG, eCommerce, or omnichannel environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully remote setting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsOwn month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reportingPrepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Support inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and margin analysisReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accountsPartner with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial dataAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisSupport external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiencyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3-6years of accounting experience (CPG, retail, or eCommerce preferred)Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with inventory and cost accounting is highly preferredProficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)High attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentNice to HaveCPA or CPA-trackExperience with Amazon, DTC, or omnichannel retail accountingFamiliarity with data tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)What We OfferCompetitive base salary ($80K - $100K) bonusComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchFlexible PTO and fully remote work environmentOpportunity to join a high-growth CPG brand with strong market traction.
