Job Title: Accountant (3-5 Years Experience) Location: Los Angeles, CA About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our Los Angeles team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support our daily accounting operations and assist with essential financial reporting to our Korean parent company. The ideal candidate can execute tasks accurately under guidance and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities · Daily Accounting Operations: Process routine A/P and A/R transactions, including billing, customer collections, vendor payments, and employee expense reimbursements. Prepare daily & weekly cash flow reports. · Expense Management & Ownership: Own the end-to-end reconciliation of corporate credit cards and employee expense reimbursements using the Rippling Spend App. Ensure all transactions are accurately coded, documented, and processed in a timely manner. · GL & Month-End Close Support: Assist with preparing journal entries, accruals, and G/L & B/S reconciliations (e.g., bank, credit cards, prepaids, royalties, and intercompany accounts) in compliance with US GAAP/IFRS. · Audit & Tax Assistance: Support internal controls, monitor accounting policy implementation, and assist with annual audits and tax return PBCs while aligning with global HQ standards. · Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, Legal, Publishing, and other departments to provide financial insights and manage license-related payment schedules. Qualifications & Requirements · Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. · Education/Certification (Must Have): Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR an active CPA candidate. · Industry Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in the Game, Entertainment, or Tech industries is highly preferred. · Technical Skills: Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS, month-end close processes, and proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheets. · Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Korean.
