Job Description
Title: Accountant II Industry: Entertainment Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 5 months Responsibilities Complete financial month-end and quarter-end close processes, including revenue recognition. Create and post journal entries into the General Ledger. Analyze and report on content licensing agreements, including interpreting license fee calculations. Perform quarterly Bad Debt Analysis and monthly Clearing Account reconciliations. Support internal and external audits, including compliance and statutory audits. Requirements BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting. 3–6 years of experience in a similar accounting role. Strong experience with general ledger reconciliations and knowledge of GAAP. CPA preferred and experience in studio or media accounting strongly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
