Position Summary CMG is seeking an in-person Accounting Assistant / Accounting Clerk to support the Accounting Team. This role is responsible for handling day-to- day accounting functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with weekly supervision. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in beginning their accounting career, as you will gain exposure to many aspects of the accounting operations including finance and human resources. This is a permanent position and could be part-time or full-time depending on candidates desired hours. Accounting & Finance Duties Prepare and send out Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices Maintain and update AR worksheets for invoicing Perform Accounts Payable (AP) entry and processing Process ACH payments and transactions Manage and reconcile expense reports Monitor and reconcile company credit card transactions Prepare and Upload Monthly print logs for Invoicing Submit and track Subconsultant AP invoices Record and process cash receipts and bank deposits Code expense reports for administrative charges Project & Contract Support Assist with project setup in internal systems Update and maintain contract amendments Track and manage Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Human Resources Support Review Employee Timesheets Prepare and Process Payroll Qualifications & Skills Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in administrative and/or accounting support roles Basic understanding of accounting principals (AR/AP processes) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); accounting software experience a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Flexible, collaborative and people-focused approach to day-to-day work with excellent communication skills Excellent communication and self management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Work Environment & Schedule Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time position depending on Candidate Desired hours Office-based role with regular interaction across departments Compensation · The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 Pay: $28.84 - $33.84 per hour Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
