Accounting & Bookkeeping Associate (Full-Time) CPA Firm | Growth-Focused | Mentorship-Driven Role About Blue Haven CPA PLLC Blue Haven CPA is a growing CPA firm located in the Harmony / Union Grove area of North Carolina. We currently provide tax preparation and planning services for both individuals and business owners, and we are in the process of expanding and strengthening our accounting and advisory services for business clients. Recently, we acquired an accounting practice and are actively working to stabilize and support our growing client base while improving internal systems, workflows, and capacity. As we continue to grow, our focus is shifting toward building stronger, long-term relationships with business owners and expanding into more ongoing advisory and accounting services. Intro We are a growing CPA firm looking for an Accounting & Bookkeeper Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is early in their accounting career (1–2 years of experience or recent accounting graduate) who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow quickly in a fast-paced, modern accounting firm. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than just data entry—they want to understand how businesses run, clean up real financials, and grow into a well-rounded accounting professional. What You’ll Do In this role, you will support a variety of client accounting and internal firm needs, including: Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Cleaning up and catching up client books (prior months/years) Adjusting and maintaining balance sheet accounts (loans, accruals, equity, etc.) Sales tax filings and support Payroll processing and payroll support Accounts payable and accounts receivable support Client onboarding after training and ramp-up Working across multiple technology platforms and tools used by the firm Supporting the preparation of accurate monthly financial reports As you grow in the role, you will gain exposure to more client communication, process development, and advisory-style work.
