Butler, PA 16001 $90,000 - $120,000 + Excellent Benefits A growing construction company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This position will play a key role in project costing, budgeting, financial reporting, and overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with job cost accounting, and the ability to work closely with project managers and leadership. Accounting Manager Responsibilities The Accounting Manager will monitor project budgets and track actual costs across multiple projects Analyze cost variances and assist with forecasting and reporting Support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations The Accounting Manager will maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP The Accounting Manager will assist with WIP reporting and project cost analysis Qualifications Of The Accounting Manager Role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Construction accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and job cost accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Viewpoint Vista
