Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager Own day-to-day accounting operations with a strong focus on accrual-based accounting Oversee key functions including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and balance sheet processes Lead month-end close activities, reconciliations, and ensure overall financial accuracy Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements Establish workflows, timelines, and accountability across the accounting team Partner with the Controller on upgrading accounting processes and infrastructure Mentor, develop, and manage accounting staff to elevate performance and technical skills Support audit, compliance, and internal reporting requirements Act as a thought partner to finance leadership on operational and strategic initiatives Qualifications For The Accounting Manager Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Active CPA required 6+ years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting background strongly preferred due to the technical nature of the role Prior leadership or supervisory experience required Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting Proven experience driving process improvements and system enhancements Experience managing AP, payroll, and balance sheet functions Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Work Environment & Benefits Fully onsite role within a collaborative, team-oriented environment Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Opportunity to make a direct impact within a growing and evolving organization This Accounting Manager opportunity is best suited for a technically strong CPA with public accounting experience who is ready to step into a leadership role, drive process improvements, and help scale an accounting function within a dynamic organization. #iNMAY2026
