Job Description
Due to growth, our 20-person Financial and Practice Management consulting firm in Chicago's northwest suburbs seeks a positive, dedicated, and energetic person to help with the accounting and tax management for our small to medium medical and dental practices.Job Description:Oversee accounting staff and be a resource.Prepare client financial statements for more complex clients.Oversee the execution of client division of income calculations. Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns.Handle client questions related to your area of work with them.QuickBooks Online support.Special financial projects as needed.Relevant skills:You must possess each of these skills:Attention to Detail.Quantitative Orientation.You must not only have the ability to look at a set of numbers and make sense of them, you also need to be in the habit of doing so.Our clients rely on us to help them look at financial statements or other reports so they can spot problems, glean trends, or determine opportunities, and then decide on appropriate actions.Natural Communicator.You will be expected to work along side not only other employees, but clients and their staff as well.We work as a team.Relevant experience & education:The most applicable experiences relate to public accounting.Candidates with the most relevant experience will be considered first.All candidates must be willing to fill in the gaps where they exist. You'll need sufficient accounting coursework but not necessarily an accounting degree. 5years' experience preparing income tax returns in a public accounting setting.
