Job Description
Accounts Payable Clerk/Coordinator Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite) Duration: Approx. 6 months Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary Seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk/Coordinator to support daily finance operations by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process and code vendor invoices and supporting documentation Prepare checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and financial records Resolve invoice, purchase order, and contract discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly Process employee expense reports and expense allocations Maintain electronic and paper financial documentation Support internal and external audit requests Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency Required Skills Prior accounts payable or finance support experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Proficiency with 10-key data entry Experience with accounting software or ERP systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively Preferred Skills Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance Tools/Environment Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Accounting/ERP systems Fast-paced finance and accounting environment
