Position Description - Accounts Payable Specialist, Sisters, Oregon REPORTS TO: Financial Controller/HR Coordinator COLLABORATES WITH: Finance Team FT/PT: Part-time, Tuesday - Thursday preferred COMPENSATION: $19 hour Sisters Coffee Company, based in beautiful Sisters, Oregon is looking for a DETAIL-ORIENTED team player to join our growing company as our new Accounts Payable Specialist. Established in 1989, we are a 2nd Generation family-owned and operated specialty coffee roaster, purveying our beautiful coffees across Oregon and throughout this fine country. We operate retail cafes in Sisters, Bend and Portland in addition to a regional wholesale program that services some of the best local establishments. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in A/P functions, efficiently and accurately reviewing and reconciling accounts, and assisting with other accounting tasks and projects. As Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll report to the Financial Controller and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our amazing team. In this position you will: ➔ Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files ➔ Review all bills for appropriate documentation and approval and prepare weekly checks ➔ Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile statements ➔ Assist with various accounting and administrative tasks and projects QUALIFICATIONS ➔ Humble , approachable , full of integrity with desire to learn and improve ➔ Demonstrated ability to effectively manage challenging situations and feedback ➔ Ability to focus on the important details while being aware of the overall purpose and vision ➔ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a close team environment ➔ Accounts Payable experience preferred ➔ Proficiency in Netsuite , Microsoft Excel and Word , Google Platforms, and Square POS a plus ➔ Strong problem solving skills BENEFITS ➔ Employee Discount ➔ Vacation and Sick Leave Sisters Coffee Company exists to create an authentic coffee experience built on a deep love for our craft and a heartfelt kindness for the people we serve Thank you for applying to our team!
