Samy’s Camera, founded in 1976, is a long-standing professional and consumer photography and videography equipment retailer known for our extensive inventory and knowledgeable staff. We proudly serve professional and consumer photographers, videographers, content creators, rental houses, content studios, ecommerce studios, educational institutions, and houses of worship with professional and consumer camera and production equipment, nationwide. Our wide selection of products is backed by expert support, in-depth product knowledge, hands-on customer engagement, and thoughtful after-sales service. Examples of responsibilities: · Register Reconciliations · Work with customers to resolve credit issues and discrepancies. · Contact customer accounts to resolve payment issues and ensure prompt payment. · Send invoices via email and customer portals. · Verify purchase orders (P.O.s). · Verify references, including bank references. · Post cash receipts. · Collect on past-due receivables. · Maintain accounts receivable customer files and process adjustments. Requirements · Proficiency in computers (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Accounting Software). · Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate with customers by phone. · Education in accounting related field is a plus. · Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in related field. · Multitask and be able to work with deadlines. · Excellent written and verbal communications skills. · Friendly demeanor and detail oriented.
