Position Overview: We, at Premco Holdings Inc., are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing outstanding customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: Recording all A/R invoices from local and overseas customers. Reconciling A/R Aging reports and identifying overdue accounts. Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and proactively following up on outstanding balances. Initiating collection activities, including emails and phone calls, to recover past-due invoices. Coordinating with customers to resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues. Working closely with sales and internal teams to address customer credit and collection concerns. Analyze account discrepancies and perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of receivable balances. Maintain detailed records of collection activities, payment commitments, and account status updates using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft. Collaborate with internal teams including accounting, customer service, and sales to resolve billing issues and improve the revenue cycle management process. Apply payments accurately through data entry and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) regulations. Prepare reports on collection status, aging reports, and account analysis for management review. Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable and contribute to process improvements in the revenue cycle. Preparing and distributing periodic A/R aging and collection status reports to management. Escalating delinquent accounts and recommending accounts for credit hold or further action. Posting payments and adjustments Credit Memos in SAP. Assisting in month-end closing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. Setting up and maintaining customer accounts. Handling credit applications and customer inquiries. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections or related accounting roles. Solid understanding of bookkeeping, credit control, and financial record management. Experience with collections processes, dispute resolution, and customer account management. Proficiency in English and MS Office. Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Strong communication skills with the capacity of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
