Responsibilities Overview: This effort provides Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of mission-critical IT systems for the Department of State, Consular Affairs (CA), supporting 10,000 users across 230 overseas posts, 29 domestic passport agencies, and multiple data centers. The Acquisition and Asset Manager (ACQ) shall manage the procurement process for all acquisitions obtained by the contractor or the Government. The estimated acquisition actions are 2,000/yr. The ACQ will manage the Acquisition and Asset Management (AAM) team (est 5 technicians). The ACQ shall be responsible for managing and tracking accurate inventory of CA/CST assets (est 10,000 tracked assets) under this task.
