A leading real estate investment and development platform is seeking an Acquisitions & Underwriting Associate to join its Miami-based team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical real estate professional with experience evaluating investment opportunities across multifamily, mixed-use, office, hospitality, and/or opportunistic asset classes. Qualifications 2–6 years of experience in real estate acquisitions & underwriting Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency Experience underwriting equity investments and evaluating institutional-quality real estate opportunities Understanding of IRR, equity multiple, waterfall structures, debt sizing, and sensitivity analysis Familiarity with Argus, CoStar, Yardi, or other industry platforms is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related discipline Strong communication and presentation abilities Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to work in a fast-paced investment environment Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed real estate financial models for acquisitions, developments, recapitalizations, and asset-level analyses Underwrite prospective investment opportunities including cash flow modeling, sensitivity analyses, return metrics, and scenario planning Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and demographic studies to support investment decisions Assist with due diligence processes including review of leases, operating statements, budgets, third-party reports, and financing materials Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal investment committee discussions Coordinate with brokers, lenders, legal counsel, operating partners, and third-party consultants throughout transaction execution Support capital structuring and equity-focused investment strategies across the platform Monitor pipeline activity and maintain acquisition tracking systems Work collaboratively with asset management and development teams post-acquisition
