Adaptive Special Needs Instructor Requirements Specific Gymnastics Background NOT Necessary Various Sports Background Is Required Minimum a basic background knowledge in special education, behavioral therapy of individuals with special needs and/or autism spectrum Ability to work with several children with varying exceptionalities in small group setting simultaneously Utilize basic gym safety protocols Teach gymnastics skills in basic moment progressions Lift / move up to 50lbs Work with children who have little to non-verbal communication abilities Calming techniques for overstimulation Rebound therapy knowledge a major plus Lots and Lots of patience with children and parents Job Type:Part-time Benefits:Paid time off Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Cranberry Township, PA 16066 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
