In this role, faculty facilitate the learning process for online students through timely and effective instruction and communication. Instructors also serve as mentors, sharing their experience to guide students and support the achievement of their educational and professional goals. Faculty contribute to student retention by creating a positive educational environment that enables students to derive maximum benefit from their program of study. Instructors receive supervision, collaboration, and guidance from the UNE Online Science Prerequisites for the Health Professions (SPHP) Program.
