Job Summary The School of Social Science and Global Studies at the University of Southern Mississippi is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach political science courses either online or face-to-face. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching a one-semester state and local politics course. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Teach political science classes as needed. Attend program meetings as determined by the program coordinator. Follow all university, college, and school policies regarding teaching practices and job performance. Be responsive to communication from students, staff, and administration. Hold regular office hours. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications 18 graduate hours of Political Science. Graduate degree in relatedfield. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of language and culture in the teaching field
