Position Title - Adjunct Instructor, Prison Education Program - Music (2025-2026) - PTT Department - Humanities Location - Lincoln Job Category - Faculty Job Type - PT Posting Number - 01906 Position Summary Information General Description of Position - Under the general direction and supervision of the Associate Dean and the Program Chair, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for instructing students in various music classes. Instructors will teach on-site at a correctional facility. The instructor will be responsible for creating course-content-related materials, utilizing various teaching strategies – including Engaged Learning practices, monitoring and evaluating student progress, and maintaining accurate student records using the required LMS grade book. This position is within the Prison Education Program (PEP). Prior experience teaching in a prison context is preferred. Training and orientation are provided by the correctional facilities and Southeast Community College's Prison Education Program. This is a part-time temporary position with assignments based on program needs.
