Job Description
Title:Admin Assistant Position Summary:The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Supervisory team and plays a vital customer service role.To be successful in this role, you must enjoy managing diverse responsibilities with enthusiasm, enjoy making decisions, helping supervisors with material organization and ordering and working with excel spreadsheets as well as word documents.This position will also include working in our internal systems pulling and creating job folders for supervisors.If you're someone who is flexible and thrives in an ever-changing environment this role is for you, offering an opportunity to showcase your previously acquired skills as well as develop new skills.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support and assist supervisory team on projects and daily business needs.Create and maintain a filing system to ensure that documentation and information is current and easily retrieved.Handle correspondence, including incoming calls and emails that are both company and customer related.Data base entries, administration, and record keeping in company systems.Maintains records and enters data and other correspondences using Microsoft excel and word.Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.Retrieves information as requested from records, emails, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Success Factors/job competencies:Initiative (Self-Starter) Ability to work well independently A strong team player Positive attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail Oriented Desire to learn and grow Discretion in handling confidential information Qualifications required:High School Diploma or its equivalent.Minimum of 2 years' experience in an office administrative assistant position.Intermediate knowledge with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point), with aptitude to learn new software and systems.HR support work experience preferred but not required.Working Conditions/Environment:This position operates in an office environment.This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.This is a largely sedentary position; however, some filing is required.This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.This position requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.Other Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for his or her job.Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Schedule:Monday to Friday Work Location:In person.
