We're a small, growing estate planning firm that believes this work is personal.Our clients aren't cases - they're families making important decisions.We take time to get it right, we don't perform cookie-cutter planning, and we're honest with people (even when that means telling them not to do something).We're known for being timely, thorough, and hands-on.Clients leave our office feeling relieved and grateful.Why This Role Is a Great Opportunity This is a key role supporting our small estate planning office in Morristown, TN.You'll learn legal workflow and document production in a firm where quality matters and your work makes a real difference.If you're coachable, detail-driven, and want a stable professional path, we can teach the right person.We are open to hiring either:An experienced paralegal, or A junior paralegal candidate with strong aptitude and the right mindset What You'll Do Draft, proofread, and finalize probate documents (templates provided; training available) Prepare and draft deeds using templates, ensuring property descriptions are transferred accurately Enter client data into our software precisely and consistently Organize and maintain digital and paper files (scanning, naming, saving to the right place) Track workflow steps and assist in moving our work forward expeditiously Communicate professionally with clients and support a smooth, calm client experience Help improve office systems and processes as we grow What Success Looks Like - We'll train and coach you toward this level of independence:You are able to run our core processes confidently with minimal assistance, asking questions along the way while taking ownership of your work Your work is accurate, organized, and timely for our clients The office feels steady and supported because you're working a step ahead What We're Looking For Required Exceptionally detail-oriented Logical, organized, and process-oriented Business judgment and customer service orientation Coachable and eager to learn Strong written communication and proofreading skills Comfortable with routine, repeatable work while taking pride in doing it well Able to self-manage:sees what needs to happen next and follows through Preferred (but not required) 1-3 years of experience in a law firm, professional office, or document-heavy role Exposure to estate planning documents, deeds, or legal software Demonstrated experience handling sensitive/confidential information Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation, based on experience Paid time off Full-time, in-office position (no remote); Part-time employment also considered.Benefits:Paid time off Application Question(s):How does this role fits into your short- and long-term career plans ?
