Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant at PRC&A, you will provide essential support to our team through a variety of administrative duties, helping ensure smooth daily operations.This is a part-time role with flexible hours ranging from 20 to 24 hours per week (10:00AM EST to 3:00PM EST), with a competitive hourly rate of $20 to $28, depending on experience.Your responsibilities will include a variety of administrative duties, such as:Supporting management with daily tasks Answering phone calls, directing them to the appropriate party, or taking messages Preparing packages for electronic delivery and mailing, including Annual Plan Valuations, 1099Rs, Monthly Extensions, Plan Terminations, Plan Documents and Amendments, and Restatements Attending meetings to record minutes Filing, scanning, and organizing company documents Providing general support to visitors Assisting with electronic filings for Form 5500 on the ASC website Maintaining and updating records in Pension Pal Contributing to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed Ordering office supplies Confidentiality and Security:You will be responsible for ensuring the protection, security, and proper handling of all confidential data held by PRC&A to prevent unauthorized access, improper transmission, or unapproved disclosure that could harm the company or its clients.Collaboration and Communication:Foster effective working relationships with the team and internal departments to provide exceptional service to clients Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, delivering information clearly and concisely to clients and financial advisors Professional Development:Maintain and continuously expand your knowledge of retirement plan rules and PRC&A's business operations Requirements:Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience Knowledge of retirement plans and the pension industry is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), DocuSign, and Zoom Must have a car for business-related trips to the Post Office Skills:Strong time management, organizational, problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail Benefits:At PRC&A, we aim to attract and retain top talent by offering a range of benefits to support employee productivity and professional growth, including:Health, dental, and long-term disability benefits Hybrid work schedules Retirement plan Generous PTO Employment Eligibility:Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a work visa, either currently or in the future.Equal Employment Opportunity:PRC&A is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all aspects of employment, including recruiting, hiring, promotion, termination, compensation, and training.How to Apply:To apply, please email your resume along with salary requirements to info@planned-retirement.com with Administrative Assistant in the subject line.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours:24 per week Benefits:Flexible schedule Referral program Education:Bachelor's (Required) Experience:Customer service:1 year (Required) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute:Ridgewood, NJ 07450 (Required) Work Location:In person.
