Administrative Assistant Pneumatic and Hydraulic Company - Broussard, LA Pay Range:$17-$21 per hour Build Your Career With Us - Not Just Take a Job Pneumatic and Hydraulic Company is seeking a dependable, professional Administrative Assistant to join our team in Broussard, LA.This is a key role within our office and directly supports daily operations, customer interactions, and internal coordination.Because we are a small office, every team member plays an important role in our success.We invest significant time and resources into training, and we are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term home with us - not just a short-term position.We are being thoughtful and intentional in making the right long-term hire.Key Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally Greet customers and visitors in person with confidence and warmth Retrieve, process, and distribute mail Assist with data entry and organization of quotes, service contracts, supplier records, and other operational documents Support purchasing coordination as needed Assist with accounting functions, including working within P21 Help manage and organize projects as assigned Maintain accurate files and documentation Perform general clerical and administrative duties as required What We're Looking For Strong interpersonal skills - comfortable speaking on the phone and greeting customers face-to-face High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities Organized and capable of managing deadlines Collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships Self-motivated with ambition and initiative Comfortable handling frequent interruptions while staying focused Qualifications Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to operate standard office equipment Experience with P21 is a plus Customer service experience preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (overtime as needed) FLSA Status:Non-Exempt Minimal physical demands (primarily seated work) Closed-toe shoes required in branch office No travel required If you are detail-oriented, personable, and looking for a place where you can grow and make a long-term impact, we would love to hear from you.Apply today and become part of a team that values reliability, initiative, and long-term commitment..
