Administrative Assistant Job Title Administrative Assistant - Legal Office (Part-Time, On-Site) Location Brooklyn / Queens, NY (100% On-Site) Compensation $17.00 per hour ($500/week) | Part-Time (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Flexible) About The Hinds Law Firm LLC The Hinds Law Firm LLC is a solo law practice led by an experienced New York landlord/tenant and real estate attorney with 25 years of experience serving Kings, New York, Bronx, Richmond,and Queens Counties. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on-site in our Brooklyn/Queens area office starting June 2026. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to gain experience in a legal environment. No prior law firm or administrative experience is required! If you are highly organized, comfortable with computers, and eager to learn, we want to hear from you. Primary Responsibilities Manage and maintain the attorney's case calendar using Google Calendar. Answer phone calls, take messages, and communicate professionally with clients. Track upcoming cases and monitor deadlines using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel. Advise the attorney of cases that need to be commenced. Draft, format, and organize documents using Microsoft Word and Gmail.Requirements (Must-Haves) Location: Must currently reside in Brooklyn or Queens, NY. Work Arrangement: Must be able to work 100% on-site (this is NOT a remote or hybrid position). Software Skills: Must be proficient in Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.AM to 3:00 PM, with flexibility). Note: The interview process will include a brief technical assessment to verify your software skills Availability: Must be available to start in June 2026 and work part-time hours (generally 10:00 am but start time flexible General computer literacy is must and a willingness to learn.
