Responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining records, supporting hiring and payroll, and managing communications and data reporting. The role ensures smooth operations across meetings, travel, and special projects while upholding confidentiality and regulatory standards.This is a hybrid eligible position that would allow for 1-2 days a week working from home after the training period. Perform office functions which may include but are not limited to: respond to internal/external customers and staff; compile data, create, modify, proofread and edit documents, records, and reports using College standard software; maintain hard copy and/or electronic filing system; monitor inventory and budget information; schedule, coordinate, and prepare materials for meetings and/or appointments.3. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.4. Student Success is the cornerstone of Western’s culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success.5. Administrative Support - Supporting Action/Task May Include: Prepare and manage classroom materials, schedule rooms, and provide day-to-day computer support.Provide information and support to students, staff, and stakeholders and coordinate division projects, meetings, and complex calendars.Coordinate and disseminate student and faculty evaluations for accrediting agencies.Update and maintain student records and assist with various student-related inquiries and processes.Arrange and process travel, registration requests, and manage key requests.Oversee WIDS submissions, distribute key requests, and collaborate on hiring teams and committees, and oversee work-study employees.Monitor and purchase supplies for the division.Ensure course syllabi submission and assign Faculty Coaches to incoming students.Assist with special projects and oversee work study schedules and responsibilities.6. Data Support - Supporting Action/Task May Include: Create and analyze complex data reports and daily enrollment information for data-informed decisions regarding student success.Assist deans with data requests related to the General Studies division7. Hiring and Budget Support - Supporting Action/Task May Include: Process budget reports and assist with timecards and payrollAssist in annual budget evaluation to monitor division funding and expensesCollect and distribute new hire paperwork to HR and Certification and support processing of Adjunct timecards and general support SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION This position reports to: Dean - General StudiesStarting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $21.95 - $28.12This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
