Administrative Controller / Bookkeeper Mr. Mike’s Home Repair – Jacksonville, NC Mr. Mike’s Home Repair is a Christian owned and operated Company. We are a rapidly growing residential repair and remodeling company looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Controller / Bookkeeper to help bring structure and financial organization to our growing operation. We currently operate multiple crews across handyman services, remodeling, flooring, fencing, drywall, paint, and property management work. We’ve grown quickly and are looking for someone who can help us stay organized, improve financial visibility, and support day-to-day operations behind the scenes. This is NOT a basic receptionist position. We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable managing moving pieces in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage invoicing and ensure invoices are accurate and sent on time Track accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid invoices Reconcile accounts and maintain organized financial records Assist with payroll tracking and reporting Track job costs including labor and materials Organize receipts, vendor records, and subcontractor paperwork Help maintain QuickBooks and internal reporting systems Create weekly reports for company leadership Assist with administrative workflow improvements Support office operations and communication between office and field teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Strong organizational and communication skills Experience in construction, home services, or contracting preferred Comfortable handling multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail Self-motivated and dependable Ability to problem solve without constant supervision Compensation Pay based on experience Full-time preferred, but part-time may be considered for highly qualified candidates Growth opportunities available as the company continues expanding About Us We are building a long-term company focused on quality work, professionalism, and strong customer relationships.
