Description To provide office, administrative, and logistical support and assistance for the leadership of the Association as a ministry of helping and resourcing churches in fulfilling the Great Commission.Core Responsibilities (1) Office Administration:Serve as the Office Coordinator.Ensure the office space is appropriately organized and prepared for daily operations.Manage and coordinate needed maintenance or repair of office equipment.Anticipate office supply needs and ensure cost effective purchase of office supplies.Act as hostess and gatekeeper for guests, answering the door and signing for packages when needed.Answer phones and assist, redirect, or screen callers.Handle office correspondence, such as mail, email, etc.Assist with office-based ministry projects, including coordinating and arranging ministry gatherings and meals.Coordinate sub-contractor work, such as custodial, utility work, and inspections.(2) Financial Administration:Serve as the Association Bookkeeper.Handle all bookkeeping tasks such as processing invoices, managing payroll, tracking funds, paying bills, preparing monthly financial reports, etc.Maintain all financial records.(3) Ministry Assistance:Maintain the association calendar.Maintain accurate records, including member church data, annual associational reports, and contact directories for pastors and lay leaders.Prepare agendas and take and prepare minutes for Administrative Board meetings.Serve as the Assistant to the Associational Mission Strategist - Assist the Associational Mission Strategist with scheduling, meetings, communication, expenses, logistical tasks (travel arrangements, making reservations, etc.), and association-wide projects.Position Requirements Upstanding character Takes initiative Gives attention to detail Excellent people skills; friendly; hospitable Excellent organizational skills Strong spelling and grammatical proficiency Good listening and note-taking skills Ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive pastoral or church information Professional; commitment to excellence Accounting and math skills Proficiency with or willingness to learn QuickBooks Technology/Social media publishing skills a major plus Pay:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
