Job Description
Administrator | Women's Health Clinic Manager, LPN/RN Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Clinic Manager specializing in Women's Health. This role offers the opportunity to lead day-to-day clinical and operational activities within assigned clinics, fostering a supportive and efficient environment for patients, providers, and staff. General Summary The Clinic Manager oversees clinical and office staff functions, working closely with healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement quality improvement plans to achieve excellent clinical outcomes. Collaborate with Quality Assurance personnel to maintain compliance with regulations and competency standards. Assist in preparing and managing capital and operational budgets, monitoring cost centers monthly. Contribute to policy, procedure, and job description development. Identify and drive process improvements in clinic operations alongside management and care coordination teams. Coordinate orientation and competency validation for new staff, ensuring compliance with training and performance documentation. Supervise clinic staff, including hiring and termination recommendations. Serve as a super user for Scheduling and EMR software, supporting development, training, and ongoing assistance. Educate staff and patients on patient portal benefits and assist with enrollment. Plan and facilitate staff development, training, and continuing education initiatives. Maintain a professional, nurturing atmosphere for patients, families, providers, and staff. Oversee office processes to ensure efficient patient flow and support practice settings. Manage staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and approval of paid time off requests. Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, teamwork, and reliability under pressure. Ensure compliance with medical clinic regulations including Corporate Compliance, OSHA, CMS, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and rural health clinic standards. Stay informed on Meaningful Use and PQRS requirements. Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Management or Business Administration and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) degree preferred. Relevant experience with a high school diploma may be considered. Experience Minimum of 3-4 years in healthcare, with management experience highly preferred. Familiarity with operational and strategic aspects of physician practices is a plus. Requirements Current LPN or RN license applicable to the region. Valid driver's license. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Mental and Physical Demands Requires considerable mental focus, ability to manage multiple priorities, and handle stress effectively. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting. Working Conditions Typical clinical and office environment with potential exposure to body fluids. Interaction with patients, families, providers, vendors, and various internal departments is expected.
