Job Description
Developmental Services Continuum, Inc. is seeking an ARF Administrator to manage operations of a level 6 adult residential facility serving adults with disabilities, monitor regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and program implementation while maintaining a safe, structured, and person-centered environment aligned with HCBS standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of a licensed Level 6 Adult Residential Facility. Ensure compliance with Title 22 and Title 17 regulations, CCLD licensing standards, DDS guidelines, SDRC guidelines, and HCBS Final Rules. Supervise and support direct support professionals (DSPs) and lead staff. Monitor implementation of individual service plans, behavior support plans, and safety protocols. Staff training, coaching, and performance development. Participate in agency on-call rotation, staff guidance needs, or emergencies as required. Maintain house budget and client P&I accounts. Purchase groceries and house supplies. Assist clients with ADL’s and housekeeping tasks such as laundry, bed-making, meal preparation, and cooking. Monitor safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management and security, report unsafe working conditions. Responsibilities are not all-inclusive, other duties may be assigned as needed. Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS) High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid California Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator Certification. Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record. Direct Support Professional Year 1 and Year 2. Two years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and enhanced behavioral supports. Working knowledge of Title 22, Title 17 and HIPPA Regulations. Experience managing a team of DSPs. Preferred 40-hour Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) Completion Certificate. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong managing, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, write and understand the English language and basic computer skills. Ability to see, talk, hear, walk, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing 50lbs or less repeatedly during the shift. Ability to lawfully and safely drive an Agency vehicle. Physical Demands/Working Conditions Work with individuals with enhanced behavioral needs. Implementation of hands-on-behavioral management strategies, as trained, may be needed daily. Work involves significant amount of movement including the operation of an agency vehicle movement of the consumers to and from the vehicle to the office, day programs, activities, work programs, clinics and community agencies. Must be willing to work a flexible or varied schedule, overtime, weekends and holiday hours as necessary to meet operational and resident needs.
