As an Office LPN, you will support physicians and mid-level providers by conducting patient assessments, administering treatments, performing testing, and delivering patient education. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask while maintaining excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to clinic policies ensuring patient safety, including infection control and safe patient handling. Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes as prescribed. Assist providers during procedures, maintaining sterile fields and managing instruments. Conduct patient examinations within the scope of licensure. Perform phone triage and act as a liaison between patients and providers. Communicate test results to patients and assist with follow-up calls. Document patient complaints and visit details accurately. Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs and measurements. Manage and update patient medication lists. Conduct point-of-care lab testing and collect specimens. Educate patients on electronic health record access and benefits. Provide patient teaching and support as needed. Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, handling precertifications and authorizations. Train new LPNs and medical assistants in clinic procedures. Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program with completion of an approved IV therapy course. Experience: Previous nursing or healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory. Certifications and Licenses: Current LPN license valid in the regional state.
